Fall into fun and kick off the autumn season in Miami with a variety of lively festivals and family-friendly events throughout the month of October.

Miami Attractions Month: Oct. 1-31

Perfect for the whole family, take advantage of promotions and special discounts to Miami’s hottest attractions during Miami Attractions Month. Highlights include special promotions to visit Everglades National Park, Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, Zoo Miami, Miami Seaquarium, the Miccosukee Indian Village and more!

Celebrate Orgullo: Oct. 1-15

Kick off Hispanic Heritage Month with 15 days of cultural events in Miami Beach. The Celebrate Orgullo festival highlights the local Hispanic LGBTQ community and proceeds from events benefit the LGBT Youth Scholarship Fund. Enjoy music, entertainment, food, poetry, parties and more. Ticket prices vary and some events are free.

Miami International Auto Show: Oct. 5-13

Always a crowd favorite for car enthusiasts and gearheads alike, head to the Miami Beach Convention Center for the 48th annual Miami International Auto Show. Check out the latest models of cars, trucks and SUVs from more than 40 of the world’s top auto manufacturers. Tickets start at $15 per person.

Italian Film Festival: Oct. 5-9

Enjoy the best short films and documentaries that Cinema Italia has to offer. The Italian Film Festival will take place at Regal Cinema 18 on Lincoln Road in South Beach. All films are in Italian with English subtitles. Tickets start at $12 per person.

Burger King Beach Run: Oct. 6

Take part in a heart-pumping 5K or 10K race at Lummus Park in Miami Beach. The Burger King Beach Run is happening in the morning on October 6 and adult 5K registration starts at $45 per person. There’s also a “Kiddie Dash” for $10 per child (ages 3-8) and a post-race beach party that’s free for everyone.

Miami Carnival Parade and Concert: Oct. 7

Dress in masquerade style and celebrate the heritage and traditions of the Caribbean at the colorful Miami Broward One Carnival. The annual event includes authentic eats, live music, lively parades and contests. Ticket prices vary and online pre-sold tickets start at $30 per person | VIP Experience $100 per person.

Grovetoberfest: Oct. 13

Check out the largest craft brew festival in Florida. Happening at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove, Grovetoberfest offers festival-goers the opportunity for unlimited samples from a variety of 400 local and regional brews, plus exotic and rare varieties. Tickets start at $44 for general admission at 4 p.m., $74 for early access admission at 3 p.m. (plus a souvenir pint glass and a backpack), and $89 for VIP admission at 2 p.m. (includes a souvenir pint glass, t-shirt and access to specialty beer).

Race for the Cure: Oct. 13

Join thousands of runners for the annual Susan G. Komen Miami Race for the Cure at waterfront Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami. Funds are used to support breast cancer research. Entry fees start at $40 for adults and $25 for youth under 16.

South Beach Seafood Week: Oct. 16-20

Eat your heart out at the annual South Beach Seafood Week at some of the hottest restaurants in South Beach. Brought to you by Breakthru Beverage Florida and CI Management, the festival helps kick off the annual Stone Crab season and will feature some of Miami’s best restaurants during the week leading up to the main event on Saturday at Lummus Park. General admission tickets start at $45 per person. Special event, VIP and Chef Showdown tickets are available as well.

South Florida Seafood Festival: Oct. 20-21

Seafood lovers rejoice! The South Florida Seafood Festival is back for its sixth season. Taking place at the picturesque Miami Marine Stadium on the beautiful island of Virginia Key, listen to live music and taste delectable dishes by some of Miami’s hottest chefs. Tickets start at $8 per person and parking is available for $10.

Coral Gables Hispanic Cultural Festival: Oct. 20-21

Celebrate the local Hispanic community with art, music, food and fun at the Coral Gables Hispanic Cultural Festival. For the kids, there will be face painting, bounce houses and more. Pets will love the doggie booth with water and snacks. Admission is free.

Halloween: Oct. 31

With many fun and family-friendly events happening throughout Miami-Dade County, Halloween is the perfect opportunity to score loads of candy and sweet treats. Crowds decked out in all kinds of fun costumes head to pedestrian-friendly Lincoln Road for their annual Halloween celebration.
