Founded in 2017 by CEO Paul Lehr and Snarky Puppy's Michael League, the GroundUP Music Foundation hosts the annual GroundUP Music Festival every February at the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell. Centered around artists and tailored for attendees, GroundUP offers a diverse mix of genres that deliver a dynamic experience for musicians and fans alike. The festival features a back-to-back lineup of musician’s musicians performing on two stages with no overlapping sets plus exclusive oceanfront workshops, panels, brunches and more, all set amidst a welcoming community vibe in the heart of Miami Beach. This annual event is made possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Cultural Affairs Council, and the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.
