Whether you want to play ball or go for a morning jog, Tamiami Park has you covered. Tamiami Park is a 247-acre public park located just south of Florida International University in Westchester. With its many fields and courts, the park is great for sports lovers. Enjoy a pickup game at the baseball field, basketball courts, football field, soccer field or tennis courts, or take some swings in the batting cage. Visitors can also take advantage of the park’s outdoor, heated Olympic-size swimming pool. The 22-lane pool is open year-round. Contact Tamiami Park for pool hours and fees. If you’re simply looking to relax and unwind, take a stroll or bike ride on the scenic paved path or make a stop at the children’s playground. The park also has picnic tables and a pavilion available for rent. If you’re looking for lunch options to eat al fresco in the park, try the burgers from nearby 109 Burger Joint or a bakery treat from CAO Bakery & Cafe.

Tamiami Park is located by the Florida International University south campus that is full of amenities including exercise classes, a tennis center, basketball court, soccer field, a heated pool, and big open spaces popular in the local’s neighborhood. Tamiami Park hosts the Dade-County Youth Fair, and has, in the past, hosted the IndyCar World Series. Friday’s there’s a food truck court where you’ll find Miami’s most popular food trucks serving up just about anything. The park is also the center of the local baseball community and there are always a few games going on.
