A Jazz Night with Zach Larmer

An intimate jazz encore brings warm acoustics and close-up improvisation to one of Miami Beach’s most atmospheric rooms.

A Jazz Night with Zach Larmer takes place Sunday, February 8 at La Poubelle, with seatings at 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Presented by Normandy Arts LLC, the evening follows a sold-out October performance and returns Larmer and his trio to the candlelit cabaret space for two closely seated sets.

Miami-based guitarist and composer Zach Larmer leads the trio through classic jazz repertoire and spontaneous improvisation, drawing on a musical background that spans jazz, funk, soul and bluegrass. A graduate of the Frost School of Music and a multiple DownBeat award recipient, Larmer has performed and recorded widely, collaborating with artists including Albert and Jimmy Heath, Mark O’Connor and Brian Lynch. The format emphasizes nuance and connection, with every note shaped by the room’s intimate scale.

Seating is cabaret-style and assigned upon arrival, and food and cocktails are available from La Poubelle’s kitchen and bar. Capacity is limited.
