Adrienne Arsht Center 20th Anniversary Gala ft. Gregory Porter

Celebrate two decades of performances and community impact with an evening concert by Grammy Award-winning vocalist Gregory Porter at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Taking place on Saturday, April 11, the Adrienne Arsht Center 20th Anniversary Gala ft. Gregory Porter marks a milestone year for the downtown Miami venue with a special concert presentation as part of its annual gala celebration. All performance and gala tickets support Arsht Impact programs, which extend the Center’s educational and community initiatives.

Porter, raised in Bakersfield, California, draws from Southern gospel traditions and the influence of his mother’s Nat King Cole records, shaping a sound that blends jazz, soul and gospel. After early releases Water and Be Good earned Grammy nominations, his 2013 Blue Note debut Liquid Spirit became a global success and won his first Grammy Award. He followed with the Grammy-winning Take Me to the Alley and subsequent projects including Nat King Cole & Me, ALL RISE, Still Rising and the holiday album Christmas Wish. Over the past decade, Porter has established himself as one of the most recognized jazz vocalists of his generation.

An optional post-performance experience is available as an add-on and includes a cocktail hour, dinner at Teatro and dancing onstage.
