Alex Ubago

A milestone tour revisits the songs that shaped early-2000s Latin pop as Spanish singer-songwriter Álex Ubago marks the 25th anniversary of the album that launched his career. Known for intimate melodies and emotionally direct songwriting, Ubago brings a catalog rooted in romantic pop ballads that resonated widely across Spain, Latin America and the United States.

Released in 2001, ¿Qué pides tú? introduced Ubago to an international audience and quickly became a generational touchstone, anchored by enduring songs such as “Sin miedo a nada,” “Aunque no te pueda ver,” “A gritos de esperanza” and “¿Sabes?”. The anniversary tour revisits the debut album in full while also incorporating later hits that reflect his evolution over more than two decades as a recording and touring artist. Ubago’s work is often noted for its understated arrangements, lyrical vulnerability and ability to translate personal emotion into broadly shared experience.

Álex Ubago – ¿Qué pides tú? Gira 25 Aniversario takes place Saturday, February 21 at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami, offering a retrospective evening centered on nostalgia, continuity and the songs that defined a generation.
