An evening workshop invites participants to unwind through hands-on artmaking while creating a functional piece to take home.
Art After Dark: Lantern Painting & Decorating takes place on Thursday, January 22, at the Doral Cultural Arts Center. Presented by the City of Doral, the session centers on designing and painting a personal lantern using color, pattern and guided techniques suited to all skill levels.
The workshop is structured as a relaxed, step-by-step experience, making it accessible for beginners while still offering room for creative expression. Participants leave with a finished lantern, designed for home décor or gifting, and a chance to ease into the new year through a focused, creative activity.
Free parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage until 9 p.m. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
