Oct 15, 2026
From: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Art Deco, Mediterranean Revival and Miami Modern architecture come into focus during a free Spanish-language walking tour through the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District. Presented Thursday, October 15 by the Miami Design Preservation League, the tour marks the closing day of Hispanic Heritage Month and is part of Miami Beach Culture Crawl.
Led by guide Ileana Muñiz, the route begins at the Art Deco Welcome Center on Ocean Drive and explores the history, design details and architectural styles that shaped Miami Beach. Muñiz is the founding editor of FAMA magazine and an educational guide whose work spans architecture, travel, nature and culture in South Florida.
The tour is conducted entirely in Spanish and lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours. Admission is free with advance registration, and the walk takes place rain or shine.
