Art, community, and creativity come together for a spring afternoon of outdoor celebration in the heart of Miami Beach.
The Art Outside Picnic, taking place Saturday, March 28 at The Bass, transforms Collins Park into a lively open-air gathering with artmaking, music and activities for all ages. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic spreads, dress in garden party style and enjoy hands-on projects led by The Bass Creativity Center and Teen Board, inspired by the museum’s current exhibitions.
Free and open to the public, the event highlights the role of public art in connecting people through shared creative experiences. Attendees can also enter a friendly competition for the most imaginative or Miami Beach–themed picnic setup. Parking is available at the Collins Park Garage, with seating offered on a first-come basis.
