Callejon Flamenco

An evening of live music and dance rooted in Andalusian tradition comes to the Miami Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach.

Callejon Flamenco takes place Sunday, March 8, presented by Ballet Flamenco La Rosa. The program features pure flamenco in a range of rhythms and styles, moving from dramatic and soulful to joyous and sensual, brought to life through expressive vocals, intricate guitar work and electrifying footwork.

Founded in 1985 by choreographer and dancer Ilisa Rosal, Ballet Flamenco La Rosa is one of the only professional U.S. companies dedicated to the development and presentation of flamenco as a theatrical art form with live music. Based in Miami and comprised of artists from the United States, Latin America and Spain, the company has earned critical acclaim in both traditional tablaos and major performance venues, while maintaining strong ties to flamenco’s roots through international collaborations and exchanges with artists in Spain.
