CAP Summer Series: Warren Wolf

Vibraphonist Warren Wolf brings Americana jazz standards and improvisational energy to Coral Gables as part of the annual CAP Summer Concert Series. CAP Summer Series: Warren Wolf takes place Thursday, July 9 at Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ. The concert features Wolf with Kris Funn on bass and McClenty Hunter on drums.

The program is presented in recognition of America250, the 250th anniversary of the United States, with a set built around jazz standards, American musical influences and unexpected selections. Wolf is known for precise, expressive vibraphone playing, bringing both rhythmic clarity and melodic range to the trio format.

Presented by the Community Arts Program, the concert is part of a summer series that has brought classical and jazz artists to Coral Gables since 1985. Performances take place inside Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ, a historic Spanish Revival-style church located across from the Biltmore Hotel and known for its intimate acoustic setting.
