Celebrate ORGULLO
Sep 25, 2025 - Oct 12, 2025
Select Days
Celebrate Orgullo, the first Hispanic and Indigenous LGBTQ festival in Greater Miami & Miami Beach, returns for its 15th edition on select dates from September 25 through October 12. Just in time for National Hispanic Heritage Month, Celebrate Orgullo (“orgullo” means pride in Spanish) presents a unique, exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in a distinctive celebration of Miami’s diversity and history.
The Sweet 15s of Hispanic and Indigenous LGBTQ Pride
In Hispanic culture, turning 15 is a very big deal for girls and, in a newer trend, for boys too. Unity Coalition/Coalición Unida, the nonprofit organization behind the Celebrate Orgullo festival, is adding extra frills and thrills to its yearly pride celebration to mark its 15-year focus on advancing equality and celebrating diversity within the Latin, Hispanic and Indigenous LGBTQ communities.
For Celebrate Orgullo’s sweet “quinces” (meaning 15 in Spanish) celebration, everyone is invited to come out for dynamic events featuring Hispanic and Indigenous art, electrifying dance contests, an entertaining Sunday brunch and a stylish awards ceremony recognizing local icons and allies.
Thursday, September 25
Dance Divas Contest Finale
There’s dancing, and then there’s dancing for prizes in a Latin dance club. Azúcar Nightclub, the high-energy LGBTQ+ club with a large Hispanic following, will host the final challenge of the Celebrate Orgullo Dance Divas contest. Watch talented dancers from across the destination compete for the coveted Dance Divas title and prize at this nightclub located between Little Havana and Coral Gables. Doors open at 10 p.m. and there’s no cover charge.
Friday, October 3
Orgullo 15 Honors
Unity Coalition/Coalición Unida’s mission will be centerstage at the Orgullo 15 Honors, the main event of Celebrate Orgullo. There’ll be cocktails and dining at the beautiful Seaspice restaurant on the Miami River in Downtown Miami and the chance to celebrate with area locals as well as the 15 LGBTQI+ allies (including the singer Shannon of “Let the Music Play” fame) that will be honored for their contributions to the local community. Sponsored by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, the event will take place from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $130 per person, including tax and gratuity, with proceeds benefitting the Unity Coalition/Coalición Unida’s scholarship fund.
Friday, October 10
ArtLAB Opening & Reception
Celebrate Orgullo will present a curated exhibition of the whimsical, theatrical work of artist Sid Daniels at ArtLAB in the Scott Galvin Community Center in North Miami. Guests can meet and mingle with the artist and fellow Celebrate Orgullo guests and enjoy refreshments and light fare, all set to the grooves of DJ Iconic. To RSVP for free admission, email info@unitycoalition.org. The event starts at 7 p.m.
Sunday, October 12
Brunch@Wanderlust
Join other Celebrate Orgullo attendees at Wanderlust Café & Lounge, the newest LGBTQ-owned restaurant in South Beach, for Sunday brunch. Beginning at 2:30 p.m., enjoy live entertainment and a sumptuous meal with your choice of a main course, dessert and coffee or tea. There will also be a premium cash bar. Tickets are $45 per person, including tax and gratuity, with a percentage of the proceeds donated to Unity Coalition/Coalicion Unida.
