Clean Miami Beach: Party with a Purpose Beach Cleanup

A Thursday afternoon cleanup brings volunteers to the beach behind 1 Hotel South Beach for Clean Miami Beach’s Party with a Purpose, co-hosted with 1 Hotel South Beach and Tala Beach. The gathering focuses on removing debris along the shoreline while fostering community around coastal stewardship.
The event takes place on Thursday, December 18, with participants meeting at the oceanfront entrance of 1 Hotel South Beach, marked by the turtle flag. Closed-toed shoes are recommended, and volunteers are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles for the onsite refill station and to use reef-safe sun protection. Cleanup supplies, including sanitized gloves, buckets, bags and pickers, will be provided.
Parking is available at 2111 Miami Beach Drive and at Garage 334 on 23rd Street. Open to all ages, the cleanup also offers community service hours for those who arrive on time. Supported by Delta Air Lines, the City of Miami Beach and The Miami Foundation, it channels the hotel’s beachside energy into hands-on environmental care.
