Contemporary ballet and live two-piano performance come together in a collaborative summer program at The Moss Center. Dimensions Dance: Summer Dances & 2 Pianos takes place Saturday, July 11.
The program features Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami in collaboration with Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion, with live music performed by piano duo Stephanie & Saar. The evening includes company premieres by choreographer Dayoung Jung, Artist in Residence Yanis Eric Pikieris and DDTM dancers Selah Jane Oliver and Rafael Ruiz-del-Vizo.
Blending new choreography with virtuosic live music, the performance highlights the relationship between movement, rhythm and musical interpretation.
