House music pioneers Doc Martin and DJ Sneak headline a late-night Miami Music Week event at Lion’s Den at Fooq’s Miami. Doc Martin, DJ Sneak, Matt E Love takes place Saturday, March 28.

A longtime figure in underground dance music, Doc Martin emerged from San Francisco’s club scene in the late 1980s and has spent decades performing globally, with appearances in Ibiza, Tokyo, London and New York. Known for genre-blending DJ sets that move between house, techno and eclectic electronic styles, he has maintained a lasting presence in international club culture while continuing to produce and tour.

Joining him is DJ Sneak, the Chicago house pioneer born Carlos Sosa, whose disco-infused grooves helped shape the sound of 1990s house music. Influenced by both Chicago’s warehouse scene and Latin musical traditions, Sneak became a defining figure of the era through influential productions, remixes and DJ sets that continue to resonate on dance floors worldwide.

On the patio, Matt E Love delivers a set rooted in classic house and bass-driven club rhythms. A veteran of the 1990s U.S. rave scene with residencies at venues such as The Limelight and The Tunnel, he later founded Bassline Records and The Bassline Lab and continues to release music and perform selectively.

Held at Lion’s Den, the upstairs listening-room-style venue at Fooq’s Miami, the event offers an intimate setting for vinyl-driven and underground dance music programming during Miami Music Week. Admission is limited to guests ages 21 and older.
