Earth Day Fair at UM
Apr 22, 2026
From: 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM
A campus-wide sustainability fair brings together student initiatives, environmental programs and interactive experiences along the shores of Lake Osceola. Taking place Wednesday, April 22 at the Lakeside Patio on the University of Miami campus, the Earth Day Fair highlights ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and action within the university community. Visitors can explore informational booths, meet campus organizations and learn about projects focused on conservation and climate impact.
The program features activations and activities throughout the day, including a “Yellow Submarine” installation led by UM art professor Billie Lynn and an eco-themed photography competition showcasing student work. Student Government’s ECO Agency will host a table with giveaways and vouchers, while participating vendors and community partners present sustainability-focused initiatives.
Set in an open-air waterfront space connecting key campus hubs, the event encourages informal engagement and exploration. The day concludes with a live Patio Jams concert, extending the Earth Day celebration into the afternoon with music by Aisha.
