Emmet's Place Miami Live

One of jazz’s most electric live experiences returns to UM Gusman Concert Hall as Emmet’s Place Miami Live brings its signature energy to the Frost School of Music stage.

Part of the Frost Music Live 2025–2026 Signature Series, this star-studded concert features Emmet Cohen—pianist, composer and creator of the acclaimed livestream series Live from Emmet’s Place—joined by a powerhouse lineup including Sean Jones, Anat Cohen, Godwin Louis, Philip Norris, Shelly Berg, Kyle Poole and special guests. Blending the spontaneity of Harlem’s “rent party” tradition with the polish of world-class jazz artistry, the performance supports Frost’s Jazz Studies department and channels the spirit of communal, high-level improvisation.
