Nov 07, 2026
From: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
A full-day guided birding trip moves through several of Everglades National Park’s distinctive habitats in search of resident and migratory species. Presented Saturday, November 7 by Tropical Audubon Society, the field trip is led by birder Brian Rapoza and begins at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center.
Planned stops may include Anhinga and Gumbo Limbo trails, Long Pine Key, Pa-hay-okee, Mahogany Hammock, West Lake and the Flamingo area, along with ponds and other birding sites throughout the park. Participants provide their own transportation between stops and should bring lunch. Several locations on the route, including Anhinga Trail, Gumbo Limbo Trail, Pa-hay-okee, Mahogany Hammock and West Lake, are wheelchair accessible.
The outing is free for Tropical Audubon members, with a $10 suggested donation for non-members. Everglades National Park admission is additional.
