Faena Jazz Series: João Bosco
May 06, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
João Bosco brings the poetic lyricism and rhythmic sophistication of Brazilian popular music to Faena Theater in an intimate concert setting.
Bosco's performance takes place Wednesday, May 6, and continues Faena LIVE’s 8th Annual Jazz Series, a five-month program curated by Grammy-nominated producer Rachel Faro. A seminal figure in música popular brasileira, Bosco is known for his intricate guitar work and socially resonant songwriting, with a career that took shape in the 1970s through collaborations with lyricist Aldir Blanc and recordings by artists such as Elis Regina.
The performance unfolds inside the 150-seat Faena Theater on Miami Beach, a venue inspired by European opera houses and Old Hollywood design that emphasizes close connection between artist and audience. The Jazz Series runs February through June, presenting a range of international artists whose work spans classic and contemporary jazz traditions.
Doors open 45 minutes prior to show time, with tickets available for individual concerts or the full Jazz Series season.
