Family Fun Hands-On: Spooky Bread

Families can shape and decorate Halloween-inspired loaves while learning the basics of Italian breadmaking at Eataly Aventura. Held Friday, October 23 at La Scuola, the hands-on class begins with a demonstration of Pane Eataly, made with Italian flour, extra virgin olive oil and a sourdough starter maintained for more than 35 years.

Participants then work with prepared dough to create their own spooky bread to take home, while learning shaping techniques and traditions behind Italian breadmaking. The class also includes a welcome refreshment, antipasto and a tasting of bread prepared by Eataly’s Scuola Chef.

The workshop is designed for children ages 8 and older. One ticket admits one parent and one child, with additional child tickets available separately.
