Family Sundays: Music & Movement with Paloma Dueñas

Families can translate color, rhythm and composition into movement during an interactive music session led by Paloma Dueñas at ICA Miami. Taking place Sunday, October 11, the program draws inspiration from Manoucher Yektai’s Curtain and Still Life and untitled works on view in the museum’s first-floor gallery.

Using rhythm, musical dynamics, instruments and sensory scarves, children and their caregivers will explore how visual elements in Yektai’s paintings can be expressed through sound and movement. The session is part of ICA Miami’s Family Sundays programming.

Advance reservations are required for all attendees, including infants. Children must remain with a parent or guardian throughout the program, and reservations are limited to four tickets per group.
