Fill Your Cup: World-Building with Dustin Yellin

Layered acrylic becomes the medium for a hands-on sculpture workshop inspired by artist Dustin Yellin at the Lowe Art Museum. The Saturday, October 17 edition of the museum’s Fill Your Cup series invites adults 21 and older to create tabletop works influenced by Yellin’s Psychogeographies, on view in the Project Room.

Guided by museum educators, participants will explore Yellin’s approach to constructing intricate, imagined worlds through layered imagery before developing sculptures of their own. The relaxed program combines art-making with drinks and light bites, and no previous art experience is required.
