FilmGate Miami, a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing local talent, offers a platform for Florida filmmakers to showcase their work. As the longest-running monthly short film series in the state, FilmGate Festival celebrates Florida's vibrant film scene, highlighting the diversity and creativity of local actors, filmmakers, and production studios.
Only Florida-based directors and those who filmed their movies in Florida are eligible to submit their work. This ensures a unique showcase of local horror talent and stories.
