A showcase of harmony and swing highlights the FIU Jazz Vocal Ensemble in a program spanning jazz standards, bebop favorites and contemporary arrangements. The concert reflects the expressive range of the vocal jazz tradition through both classic and modern repertoire.
Directed by FIU faculty, the ensemble features student vocalists exploring sophisticated harmonies and improvisation while developing their artistry in performance. FIU Jazz Vocal Concert takes place Thursday, November 6 at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center.
