Folkuria: International Folk Festival

Traditional music, dance and ceremonial dress from around the world come together in a staged celebration of living folk traditions at The Fillmore Miami Beach. The festival takes place Saturday, August 22, with doors opening at 3 p.m. and performances beginning at 4 p.m. The program coincides with World Folklore Day.

Presented by Puerta de Oro de Colombia, Folkuria features folk ensembles, musicians and cultural artists sharing dances, stories and artistic practices rooted in their respective communities. The program highlights both the distinct identities of participating cultures and the ways music and movement connect traditions across borders.

Puerta de Oro de Colombia is a nonprofit cultural organization affiliated with CIOFF USA and the International Dance Council. The event is open to all ages, and every guest must have a ticket for entry. Artists, performance times and programming are subject to change.
