Global rhythms take over The Terrace as Francis Mercier brings his acclaimed Deep Root Tribe showcase to Club Space for a night of Afro-house, soulful grooves and cross-cultural soundscapes during Space Basel 2025.
Founded as an offshoot of Deep Root Records, Deep Root Tribe highlights the organic and spiritual side of house music, blending global percussion, melodic textures and ancestral rhythms that celebrate the roots of dance culture. Haitian-born DJ, producer and label founder Francis Mercier leads the night alongside a lineup that includes Moblack, Mestiza, Samm b2b Ajna, and Aryme b2b Ayo, each bringing their own rhythmic interpretations to the decks.
Renowned for his genre-defying sets and commitment to uplifting diverse voices within the electronic scene, Mercier has become one of the leading figures in globally influenced house music, performing at major festivals and clubs around the world.
Francis Mercier presents: Deep Root Tribe, presented by Club Space, takes place on Wednesday, December 3 starting at 11 p.m. and runs into Thursday afternoon. This 21+ event continues Space Basel’s weeklong celebration of music and culture during Miami Art Week.
