Frost After Dark: Louise Nevelson on Film

The thinking behind Louise Nevelson’s monumental sculptures emerges through her own words and recollections from those who knew her in Nevelson: Awareness in the Fourth Dimension (2007). The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU screens Dale Schierholt’s documentary on Tuesday, October 27 as part of Frost After Dark, its recurring after-hours series.

The film examines Nevelson’s life, artistic vision and creative process, offering a closer look at the person behind her distinctive sculptural language. Pizza and popcorn will be available during the screening, and attendees can enter a raffle for a premium Coral Gables Art Cinema membership.
