Gabriel & Dresden's Stories We Tell: 25th Anniversary Tour

Trance, progressive house and song-driven electronic music shape a late-night anniversary set by Gabriel & Dresden at The Ground Miami. Gabriel & Dresden’s Stories We Tell (25th Anniversary Tour) takes place Friday, August 7, presented by Eternal Frequencies.

The San Francisco duo of Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden emerged in the early 2000s, pairing Gabriel’s background in music technology and composition with Dresden’s long-running experience as a DJ and tastemaker. Their collaboration developed after a meeting at Miami Winter Music Conference, eventually leading to remixes, original productions and a defining run in U.S. trance and progressive dance music.

Gabriel & Dresden broke through internationally with “As the Rush Comes,” recorded as Motorcycle with vocalist Jes, and became known for tracks such as “Tracking Treasure Down,” “Dangerous Power” and their remix work on Andain’s “Beautiful Things.” Their albums include Gabriel & Dresden, The Only Road and Remedy, with later releases continuing their mix of melodic electronic production, synth-pop textures and vocal-centered songwriting.

The 25th anniversary tour revisits the duo’s catalog and long-running influence on trance and progressive house. The event is open to guests 18 and older.
