Game Night: The Haitian Edition

Traditional Haitian games, Kreyol karaoke, food trucks and trivia come together for an evening centered on Haitian culture and community. Presented by Avanse Ansanm, the annual Haitian Heritage Month event takes place Saturday, May 9 at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Proceeds from donations support the Nancy Metayer Endowment Fund.

The program features a mix of traditional Haitian games such as dominoes, osle, kay, mopyon and mancala, along with familiar party games including Spades, Uno and Jenga. Guests can also take part in karaoke, enjoy music and sample Haitian food truck offerings, including fresco.

Game Night: The Haitian Edition is presented in partnership with L’Heure Productions and the Haitian American Professionals Coalition. The event is designed as a casual gathering for reconnecting with friends, meeting new people and celebrating Haitian traditions during Haitian Heritage Month.
