Gentle Trick-or-Treat

A low-key Halloween afternoon offers trick-or-treating and play in a setting designed to keep the experience calm and approachable. Held Saturday, October 24 at Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park, the annual Gentle Trick-or-Treat includes a photo station, storybook walk, safe maze, art activities and sensory stations.

The event avoids scary elements and includes a quiet area, limited crowd size and no expectations around speaking, dressing up or participating in a particular way. Admission is free, but advance registration is required, with one ticket reserved per vehicle.
