God & The Holocaust: A Memorial Concert
Apr 13, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
A multimedia memorial concert at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center reflects on faith, memory and survival through music and literature shaped by the Holocaust.
God & The Holocaust: A Memorial Concert with Avi Hoffman & Aaron Kula takes place Monday, April 13 and is presented by YI Love Jewish in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The program brings together performer Avi Hoffman and Maestro Aaron Kula with the Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra for an evening that examines the complex relationship between Jewish identity, belief and historical trauma.
Drawing from the works of Jewish and Yiddish playwrights, poets and authors, the concert weaves music and spoken word rooted in Holocaust-era experience. The selections address themes of loss, resilience and moral questioning, using artistic expression as a framework for remembrance and reflection.
The performance begins at 8 p.m. VIP tickets are available and include preferred seating and a post-show reception with the artist. Due to its subject matter, the program includes adult-themed Holocaust poetry and songs.
