The Miami Symphony Orchestra launches its new season with a sweeping program of late Romantic masterworks led by Music Director Eduardo Marturet.
The Grand Season Opening of the 2025–26 Miami Symphony Orchestra season takes place on Sunday, November 16 in the Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center. The evening features cellist Anna Litvinenko in Dvořák’s beloved Concerto for Violoncello and Orchestra in B minor, framed by Wagner’s Prelude and Liebestod from Tristan und Isolde and Rachmaninoff’s lush Symphony No. 2 in E minor.
Known for programming that combines emotional depth with musical grandeur, Maestro Marturet leads the orchestra in this stirring season opener. Tickets go on sale to the public beginning September 19.
