Halloween at Faena Theater: Memento Mori

Aerialists, contortionists, dancers and theatrical performers transform Faena Theater into a late-night Halloween spectacle exploring beauty, desire, time and mortality. Taking place Saturday, October 31, Memento Mori begins with a DJ set before shifting at midnight into a sequence of immersive performance vignettes staged throughout the theater.

Ariana Savalas serves as master of ceremonies, guiding the evening with a cabaret-inspired mix of theatricality and audience engagement. Performer Sophia Bollman joins the production, which blends aerial artistry, dance, contortion and other live acts around the event’s “The Veil” concept, drawing on the memento mori tradition as a meditation on life’s transience.

Following the performance, the DJ returns for late-night dancing. General admission is $149 and includes standing-room access to the event; seating and beverages are not included.
