HER IMPACT: Voices That Build Worlds
Mar 15, 2026
From: 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
Storytelling and dialogue take center stage in a community gathering that highlights the role of women as catalysts for cultural and social change. HER IMPACT: Voices That Build Worlds takes place Sunday, March 15 at the Overtown Performing Arts Center during Women’s History Month.
Presented by the Black Liberation Alliance Movement, the event brings together women whose work and perspectives reflect the influence of storytelling in shaping culture, advancing justice and envisioning more equitable futures. Through conversation and shared reflection, participants explore how personal narratives can inform community leadership and collective action.
Designed as an interactive gathering rather than a traditional panel discussion, the program invites attendees to engage with ideas, experiences and perspectives that highlight the power of voice and lived experience in building stronger communities.
