Hispanic Heritage: Balloon Immersion Experience

Balloon sculptures turn the Doral Cultural Arts Center into a walk-through exploration of Hispanic cultures, with installations drawing on traditions and symbols from nine countries and territories. Presented by the City of Doral for Hispanic Heritage Month, the free exhibition runs Friday, September 25 through Saturday, October 3.

Artists from different countries contribute displays inspired by Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. Visitors can move among the installations, examine their cultural references and take photographs throughout the experience.

An opening-night celebration takes place September 25 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The exhibition is otherwise accessible during the center’s operating hours. Registration is required. Free parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage, 8401 NW 53rd Terrace, until 9 p.m.
