Hispanic Heritage: Balloon Immersion Experience

Balloon art transforms the Doral Cultural Arts Center into an immersive celebration of Hispanic heritage, with installations inspired by nine countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. Presented by the City of Doral, the exhibition opens Friday, September 25 and remains on view through Saturday, October 3.

Artists from different countries use color, symbols and large-scale balloon forms to represent traditions associated with Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Nicaragua. Visitors can walk through the installations, explore the cultural references incorporated into each space and take photos throughout the experience.

An opening-night celebration takes place September 25. The exhibition is free and open to the public with registration required, and free parking is available at the City Hall Parking Garage.
