Hispanic Heritage Celebration Concert
Sep 28, 2025
From: 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
The Alhambra Orchestra launches its 2025–26 season with a concert celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at the Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts. The program spans the elegance of Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga’s Symphony in D to the rhythmic fire of Arturo Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, complemented by Isaac Albéniz’s Asturias, zarzuela arias, and romantic favorites such as Granada, performed by distinguished guest vocalists.
A fixture in Miami’s cultural life for more than three decades, the Alhambra Orchestra is known for its refined interpretations, accessible performances, and commitment to community engagement. This stirring season opener reflects that mission, offering audiences a vivid evening of color, melody, and pride in Hispanic musical traditions.
