Holiday Clay Play with Erica Lores

A hands-on ceramics workshop invites participants to slow down and work with clay in a relaxed, seasonal setting overlooking the ocean.

Holiday Clay Play with Erica Lores takes place on Tuesday, December 23 at Ocean Terrace at 1 Hotel South Beach. Led by Miami-based ceramic artist Erica Lores of Maracuyá Studio, the session guides participants through the process of hand-building a festive mug or bowl, with an emphasis on basic techniques, surface decoration and personal expression.

The workshop is open to all skill levels, with no prior experience required. Lores provides step-by-step instruction before participants shape and decorate their pieces by hand. Finished works will be glazed with a food-safe clear glaze and fired in the artist’s studio, with pieces available for pickup or delivery approximately three to five weeks after the event.

All materials are included. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Hotel guests and members ages 18 and over may be eligible for complimentary access, subject to availability, through the hotel concierge or by contacting the venue directly.
