“In My Own World” Mr Floyd Larry

Miami alternative rock project Mr Floyd Larry returns home for a late-night show shaped by shoegaze, dreampop, post-punk and heavy melodic textures. The In My Own World homecoming show takes place Sunday, August 30 at Lincoln’s Beard Brewing & Cocktails. The lineup also features support from Trust Nobody and Black Nimbus.

Led by Miami-based artist Floyd Larry, the project blends atmospheric guitar work, heavy basslines and vulnerable vocals into a sound influenced by classic and contemporary alternative rock. After beginning as a producer making rap beats in 2018, Larry expanded into band-driven music, drawing inspiration from acts such as DIIV, Beach Fossils, Gorillaz and Cocteau Twins.

The Miami performance follows earlier Florida tour stops in Gainesville and Jacksonville, giving the Lincoln’s Beard date a homecoming role within the In My Own World run. Fans can expect a set built around nostalgic textures, emotional songwriting and a modern take on guitar-forward alternative music.
