Jazz Educators Community Coalition

Young jazz musicians perform under the direction of violinist and vocalist Nicole Yarling during a free outdoor concert in Lummus Park. The program takes place Friday, July 24, with music beginning at 6:30 p.m. near 14th Street and Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. The performance is part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Series and the South Beach Jazz Festival Summer Series.

The Jazz Education Community Coalition gives aspiring musicians opportunities to study and perform alongside established jazz artists from South Florida and beyond. The ensemble has appeared at events and venues including Art Deco Weekend, Pinecrest Gardens, Olympia Theater and Miami-Dade County Auditorium, where it opened for Paquito D’Rivera.

Guests may bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs for seating on the park lawn.
