Jazz Encounters ft. Brazilian Voices

Vocal ensemble Brazilian Voices, leads the Friday, October 11 installment of Jazz Encounters, WDNA 88.9 FM's monthly music series featuring live jazz and jazz-adjacent artists. Brazilian Voices, comprised of dedicated female vocalists, performs at cultural and philanthropic events with the objective of sharing Brazilian music with the world. Founded in 2001 as a nonprofit by musical directors Beatriz Malnic and Loren Oliveira, Brazilian Voices has become a platform for promoting and preserving Brazil's multicultural heritage through music.

The performance will be followed by an open jam session where musicians are welcome to participate. Bring your instruments to join the jam session. Students can take advantage of a limited number of free tickets.
