Jazz in the Jungle: Freddy DeBoe Band

A tropical garden setting becomes the backdrop for live soul-jazz and vinyl selections as Jazz in the Jungle returns to Miami Beach. Presented by Miami Jazz Booking, the recurring series pairs regional talent with an open-air atmosphere inside the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

This installment of Jazz in the Jungle takes place Friday, March 13 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden.

Headlining the evening is Freddy DeBoe, a South Florida soul-jazz musician known for blending jazz improvisation with funk and groove-driven rhythms. He performs with his band, joined by support from The Glades. Throughout the night, DJ Travis Acker, founder of Tiki Tumbao Records, spins vinyl sets that lean into Latin, tropical and global sounds.

Guests can explore the garden grounds while enjoying live music, a full bar, food options and local vendors, creating a relaxed outdoor concert experience in the heart of Miami Beach.
