Just for Me: Coastal Explorers

Sensory-friendly museum hours offer individuals and families a quieter setting with adjusted sound and lighting throughout Frost Science. The program takes place Saturday, July 18, creating a more comfortable environment for visitors with diverse sensory and accessibility needs.

This edition features Coastal Explorers, a tactile activity in which participants build a shoreline using sand and other sensory materials while learning about challenges facing coastal environments. Guests can explore the activation at their own pace and engage with scientific concepts through hands-on discovery.

Families may also use Frost Science’s social narrative to prepare for the visit and are encouraged to connect with one another and share resources during the event.
