LALALAND: Miami Music Week
Mar 28, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
Chicago house and techno lineage takes over Toe Jam XL’s Backlot for a Miami Music Week edition of LALALAND, Green Velvet’s long-running party concept. The event unfolds Saturday, March 28, with doors at 8 p.m.
A defining figure in both house and techno, Green Velvet, born Curtis Jones, has shaped dance floors for decades under multiple aliases, including Cajmere. His 1992 collaboration with Dajae, “Brighter Days,” remains an enduring house anthem, while tracks like “Percolator” and “Flash” helped cement his status as a Chicago innovator. LALALAND, also the title of his 2001 release, reflects the playful yet driving energy that runs through his catalog.
The lineup features Green Velvet in a back-to-back set with a special guest, alongside German tech-house heavyweight Loco Dice, known for marathon sets that fuse hip-hop sensibility with deep, rolling grooves. Rising producer Ayybo brings West Coast house energy and punchy basslines, while Discip delivers groove-forward selections rooted in underground club culture. Miami-based Roddy Lima adds local flavor with tech-house and Latin-leaning rhythms. A special Cajmere B2B Live F set nods to Green Velvet’s foundational house roots, and JKatz rounds out the bill with dance-floor-driven selections.
Presented by Phase 3, this 21+ event takes place rain or shine. For VIP table inquiries, contact +1 (516) 493-1710.
