Caribbean flavor and late-night energy come together as two of today’s most celebrated chefs bring island soul to South Beach.
On Friday, February 20, the Kimpton Surfcomber Miami, South Beach hosts Las’ Lap Link Up: A Celebration of Afro-Caribbean Cuisine, part of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival® lineup. Hosted by Food Network favorite Kwame Onwuachi and James Beard Award–winning chef Nina Compton, the event invites guests on a flavorful journey through the Caribbean—from the fiery jerk spices of Jamaica to the fresh coastal tastes of Saint Lucia and the Bahamas.
Guests will enjoy a lively walkaround tasting paired with tropical cocktails, upbeat calypso and reggae rhythms, and the warm, communal spirit that defines Caribbean hospitality.
