Listening Party: Ariana Grande “petal”

Modern soul, funk and electronic grooves fill Sweat Records as Jungle fans gather for a first listen to the group’s new album, Sunshine. The release-day listening party takes place Friday, August 14 in Little Haiti, with giveaways and prizes available while supplies last. Attendees will hear the album in full alongside fellow listeners at the independent record store.

Formed in West London by longtime collaborators Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland, Jungle expanded to include vocalist, producer and multi-instrumentalist Lydia Kitto as a permanent member in 2023. The band is known for blending modern soul, funk, disco and dance music with visually distinctive, choreography-driven videos. Sunshine, its fifth studio album, follows 2023’s Volcano and introduces the next phase of the group’s polished, rhythm-forward sound.
