Listening Party: Tortoise “Touch” takes place Saturday, October 18 at Sweat Records, where guests can hear the album on vinyl a week before its official release and purchase it ahead of streaming launch. Posters, stickers, snacks and drinks will round out the afternoon.
The Chicago-based post-rock ensemble, known for fusing krautrock, dub, jazz and minimalism into expansive instrumental works, releases Touch on October 24 via International Anthem and Nonesuch Records. The event offers Miami listeners a rare opportunity to experience the new record before it reaches a global audience.
