Children’s books, puppets and music turn monster stories into a playful live-theater experience at Miami Beach Botanical Garden. Presented Sunday, October 11 by Fantasy Theatre Factory, Little Monster Tales brings stories about monsters, children and other imaginative creatures to the stage through comedy, literature and interactive performance.
Designed for families, the program encourages reading, creative writing, self-expression and imaginative thinking. Puppetry, music and humor guide the storytelling, with the performance culminating in a monster dance for the audience.
Fantasy Theatre Factory, founded in 1978, produces theater for young audiences and operates the Sandrell Rivers Theater in Miami while also touring its programs throughout Florida and beyond.
