Live Naked Plants: An Introduction to Aerial Gardening takes place Saturday, October 11 at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, led by tropical horticulturist Craig Morell. Participants will learn techniques for cultivating plants off the ground, whether in trees, on balconies, or with mounted displays like driftwood—and explore the diversity of species that can grow in compact spaces.
With more than 40 years of experience, including leadership roles at Pinecrest Gardens and the National Tropical Botanical Garden, Morell specializes in orchids and epiphytes. The session provides practical knowledge on selecting and sourcing plants as well as strategies for keeping them healthy and thriving.
