Local Views at the Art Station: Bouquets & Botanicals
This event has passed.
A hands-on floral workshop combining bouquet design and botanical illustration takes place at Pérez Art Museum Miami for a Mother’s Day afternoon program. Held Sunday, May 10, Local Views at the Art Station invites participants of all ages to explore creative expression through flowers and nature-inspired art.
Led by teaching artist Nicola Salino in collaboration with Paraíso Collective, the experience guides guests in selecting seasonal blooms to create personalized bouquets while learning principles of color, texture and composition. Participants can also craft illustrated letters using botanical elements, incorporating drawing, dried flowers and nature-based details to accompany their arrangements.
Paraíso Collective, a South Florida-based floral design group, is known for its interactive workshops that blend artistic instruction with hands-on practice. The program is included with museum admission and takes place within PAMM’s waterfront setting.
