LUMIMUSIC: A Dream in Light and Music
May 09, 2026
From: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM
Piano, synchronized lighting and visual storytelling come together in an immersive concert designed around themes of memory, love, time and transformation. The final LumiMusic performance of the 2025-2026 season takes place Saturday, May 9 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Crossbridge Church in Brickell. The 45-minute program blends classical repertoire, film music and contemporary works in a setting where color and light shift with the music.
The program includes Debussy’s Clair de Lune, selections from Yann Tiersen’s Amélie, Olexandr Ignatov’s Echo, Gibran Alcocer’s Idea 10, Liszt’s Romance, Chopin’s Fantaisie-Impromptu, Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar and the first movement of Beethoven’s Pathétique Sonata. The lighting design is synchronized to the performance, creating a cinematic atmosphere around the solo piano program.
The concert features Dr. Tingting Wu, a concert pianist and founder of LumiMusic. Wu was invited to close the New York AI International Film Festival at Symphony Space on Broadway in 2025 and appeared as a featured solo pianist in a PBS production of Pictures at an Exhibition with conductor Gerard Schwarz. Through LumiMusic, she presents piano concerts that combine performance, atmosphere and accessible storytelling.
